Today Arfred is serving Timber Ales Lumberjack Style, a 12% imperial stout aged on coffee and maple syrup. Playing a little world association game, lumberjack style makes me think of flannel, which makes me think of the Seattle grunge scene. I can’t imagine anyone who is a better depiction of grunge style than Kurt Cobain. Dude was an alt icon. I’m not denying Nirvana the grunge crown, but personally I listened to a lot more of Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots. Cisco recommends basking in that smell of teen spirit.
