Today Arfred is serving Hedgehog Brewing – Patchwork 2020 Vintage, a 8.7% flanders-style brown. This is a blend of 8 different sours, ranging from fruited to bourbon barrel-aged. The description says you can detect notes of cherries, orange, bourbon and toffee, which makes me wish I had a better palate. Sometimes I feel guilty drinking these special blends alone, like they should have been shared with someone who could appreciate them more. I’m definitely not saying I don’t appreciate the craft and effort that went into this brew, just that I’m not refined enough to understand it. Cisco recommends sharing with friends.
