Today Arfred is serving Thomas Hooker & Munson’s Chocolate collab – Chocolate Truffle Stout, a 5.9% sweet and velvety stout brewed with Munson’s cocoa powder. You may not be familiar with Munson’s outside of New England, but I’m sure you’ve got a local equivalent multi-generational, family owned and operated chocolate/candy company. Seems to be a staple in every regional community. Having grown up in CT myself, it’s really nice seeing some of my old local favs team up like this. It’s nostalgic, it’s familiar, it tugs at the heartstrings. Really brings out all the feels, like driving through the suburbs thinking about your ex. Cisco recommends singing at red lights and stop signs.
