Today Arfred is serving Martin House – Lemon Icebox Pie, a 5.4% lemon sour brewed with graham crackers and lactose. Never had a slice of lemon icebox, but now I’m definitely craving one. Kind of an underrated member of the pie community, right? At diners when dessert-seekers ask “what’s good here”, you never really hear the waitstaff push the lemon. But look at this smile on the can art – she’s totally got that “you chose wisely” nod going. If this waitress could talk she’d tell you this is her favorite pie. At least, that’s what she told me.
